Stuck at home and ready to pull your hair out. This will be over and we all will be ready to get outside. Now is a great time to get all your spring cleaning done. Need some ideas or a list of where do I even start?? Here it is..
Make sure you have some good music playing that will help motivate you. Don’t become overwhelmed start small. Go room by room so that you can see your progress. Do not do a little in each room. This will make it seem like your entire house has been turned upside down and that you aren’t getting anything done. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! LETS GO!! 😊
1. Over haul all your cleaning supplies:
Its important before you tackle anything to organize all your supplies first to see what you have. Sort them on what you will need for what rooms and get the under the sink and other places you store your supplies in order. From here you will see what you need if anything to complete your cleaning. Also look online to places with recipes to make your own. You probably have everything in your home to make cleaners when you didn’t even realize.
2. START SMALL:
Don’t bit off more than you can chew. Make a list of all that you want to accomplish in this. For instance, start with the stove. Clean it inside and out. The inside and the grates on top. This is something that you use and see every day. So, seeing the results will motivate you to move on to other areas.
3. Freshen up your wardrobe swap:
When packing away your clothes make sure that they are all clean. Pack away with dryer sheets between clothes so that they are fresh next season. Add dryer sheets to shoes also to allow them to be fresh and ready. Pool noodles cut are a great way to store boots so that they don’t lose their shape. When taking out clothes for the current season steam them when hanging them in your closet to freshen them as well as have them prepared to wear. We all know when we are busy we are more apt to grab an article of clothing that doesn’t need maintenance to wear. This is also a great time to get rid of things. If you are packing clothes away you didn’t wear at all this season it’s a good idea to donate them.
4. Don’t forget your jewelry:
